I love this. Short pencils are so annoying. I'm hoping that the cost difference between short pencils and regular pencils is pretty big. Otherwise, I'll be very disappointed by the money we waste buying them. Unlike a regular pencil, people don't usually sharpen them more than once before they're too short. Then they just get thrown away. Those poor Redwoods. :)
